Workforce Network is a partnership of organizations, working together to provide integrated, high quality employment resources to students, job seekers and businesses.
CAREER SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALSServices are available at One Technology Plaza in downtown Peoria and through satellite offices at Manual High School and in Marshall, Stark and Woodford counties. Open to the public. CAREER RESOURCE CENTERThe Career Resource Center is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with a wide-range of resources, from workshops and seminars, to computers for creating and updating resumes.
WORKSHOPS Workforce Network offers a variety of Career Resource Workshops for individuals. Many of these workshops are specifically focused on helping dislocated workers cope with the stress of a layoff and to put together a plan of action for identifying new career opportunities, finding employment and/or receiving training. There is no charge to attend these workshops however, pre-registration is required! DISLOCATED WORKER SURVEY Workforce Network offers career services to dislocated workers. To help us meet the needs of dislocated workers in central Illinois, please complete a Dislocated Worker Survey. JOB FIT ASSESSMENT & RESUME BUILDER Job Fit is an online job matching system allows employers to search for highly-skilled workers in the local area. JobFit has an assessment and resume component. The assessment helps a job seeker create a career plan and highlight skills. JobFit's resume building tool creates a professional digital resume to be printed or emailed. CAREER FAIRS Career Fairs are a great way to meet potential employers. Career Fairs are offered throughout the year at various locations. "VIRTUAL" CAREER FAIR The Journal Star Classifieds are a great resource for identifying local employment opportunities. Check out the Virtual Career Fair.

ILLINOIS WORKNET Illinois WorkNet is a great workforce development resource for businesses and individuals in our state. The website provides individuals with information on how to prepare for and find a job.
